Anna University Result 2021: Anna University conducted the end-semester examination for UG and PG students in April and May. It was an Even Semester, and students wrote exams for the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters. Due to the pandemic situation, the exams were conducted in Online Mode. How to check Anna University Result April/May 2021?
Now many candidates thinking about when anna university publishes 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th Semesters Results. Once your result was published, candidates can follow the below steps to get the result. Candidates can also their results through their controller of examination(COE)
To check your results, follow the below steps.
Step 1 – Go to https://coe1.annauniv.edu. You will be taken to the official result page of Anna University.
Step 2 – Enter your login details such as Register number, Date of birth, and Captcha code.
Step 3 – Your screen will appear like the below image. Enter the correct details and click on the “Login” button.
Step 4 – After logging in, your results will be displayed.
Step 5 – Grades and results for each subject will be mentioned.
Step 6 – Kindly Download your results or screenshot them for future references.
Sometimes candidates can get server errors due to the huge number of candidates trying to know the result at the same time. So candidates are advised to check the result through Anna University Result App, which available in Google Play Store.
Result Code And Their Meanings:
You will be getting any of the following as your result.
| Result Code | Meaning |
| PASS | You have passed the particular subject. |
| RA | Re-Appear: You have failed the particular subject. |
| WH | With Held: Your result has been withheld by the university. The most common reason for this may be due to pending fees payment. |
| AB | You were absent for that particular subject. |
What To Do Next After Knowing The Anna University Result?
In case you have failed a subject, or you are not satisfied with your result, you can apply for “Revaluation”. The other option is to write the exam again, which falls under “Arrear Exams”.
Procedure For Anna University Exam Revaluation:
Step 1 – If you aren’t satisfied with your result for any subject, you can apply for revaluation at the price of Rs.300 per subject.
Step 2 – You can pay for revaluation and apply for the photocopy of your answer sheet through the online portal.
Step 3 – You will be receiving the photocopy of your answer sheet. You can go through it, and if you find any total mistakes or marks not properly given, you can bring that to the notice of the Controller of Examination.
Step 4 – After a while, your revaluation results will be announced, which can be viewed on the Anna University Website. (The procedure is the same as mentioned above.)
Even after the Revaluation Result, if you are not satisfied with your results, you can further apply for a “Review”.
Procedure For Review:
Step 1 – You can apply for a Review if you are not satisfied with your revaluation result.
Step 2 – If you want to apply for a REVIEW, you should do it within 3 days from the date of announcement of the revaluation result.
Step 3 – You have to pay Rs.3000 for each subject paper if you are applying for a review.
Step 4 – If you are applying for REVIEW, your answer sheet will be scrutinized by an expert faculty from the subject. The expert faculty will be selected by your department.
Step 5 – If your grade moves higher than the previous one, your fee will be refunded back to you, and your result will be updated.
Step 6 – If your grade moves lower than the previous one, your money will not be refunded, and it might affect your existing results.
