AIIMS NORCET 2023 notification announced for the posts of Nursing Officers to fill up the vacant posts in the National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) & Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test 4 (NORCET). There are 3,057 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of Diploma/B.Sc is eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Nursing Officers:
NITRD:
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
NORCET:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute. OR
- B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council. OR
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
- 02 years experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all participating AIIMS.
Age Limit ( As on 05 May 2023 ):
- Nursing Officers ( NITRD ): Between 18 – 35 Years.
- Nursing Officers ( NORCET ): Between 18 – 30 Years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWBD: 10 – 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen and Commission Officers including ECOs/SSCOs: Five years subject to the condition
- Central Govt. Civilian Employees – for Group B posts: 05 – 10 years

Selection Process:
- The selection process includes an Online CBT Examination/Interview.
- The candidates are advised to bring Admit Card downloaded from the AIIMS website at the time of the Online (CBT) mode Examination.
- After any candidate qualifies for the interview/written examination/, such candidates will be subjected to a medical examination by a board constituted by AIIMS to ascertain their suitability for the said post/job.
Online CBT Examination:
Scheme of Examination:
- The duration of the examination shall be 3 hours (180 minutes).
- 200 MCQs of 200 marks with four alternatives for each question.
- 180 MCQs related to the subject, 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
Application Fees:
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs.3000/-
- SC/ST Candidates/EWS: Rs.2400/-
- Persons with Disabilities: Exempted
- The candidate can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/ NETBANKING.
- Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after the declaration of results in due course of time.
How to apply for AIIMS NORCET 2023?
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job online on their official website latest by 05 May 2023 up to 5.00 pm. For candidates requiring correction in Registration & Basic candidate information OR Completion of application form, the edit panel will be available from 06 May 2023 to 08 May 2023 up to 5.00 pm only after the closing of online registration.
