Detailed Eligibility:

Scientific Officer/Technical Officer (Engineering Background):

• B. Tech./B.E. in the relevant disciplines. OR
• M. Tech. or M.E. (after B. Tech/B.E./ M.Sc) in the related fields of the relevant
  disciplines. OR
• PhD in the related fields of the relevant disciplines.
• The relevant disciplines are Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical/ Nuclear /Civil (Geotechnical)/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics

Scientific Officer/Technical Officer (Science Background): M.Sc. Physics with Diploma in Radiation Physics (Dip. RP) from BARC, Mumbai or courses with equivalent syllabus

Age Limit (As on 31.10.2018): 

• Scientific Officer (C): Below 35 Years
• Scientific Officer/ Technical Officer (D): Below 40 years
• Scientific Officer/Technical Officer (E): Below 45 years
• Scientific Officer/Technical Officer (G/F): Below 50 years

Relaxations in upper age limit: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & Others as per Govt rules.
