Here’s a breakdown to help you understand and participate effectively in the Accenture Innovation Challenge:
- Generative AI: This refers to AI technologies that can generate new content, ideas, or data patterns. Examples include AI that can write text, compose music, or design products. Understanding the capabilities and potential applications of generative Al is crucial.
- Innovative Business Models: The challenge is to think beyond traditional ways of doing business. Consider how generative Al can
create new revenue streams, improve efficiency, or deliver services in ways that were not possible before. - Disrupt Traditional Industries: Look at how generative Al can change existing industries dramatically. This could mean automating tasks that were previously done by humans, offering new kinds of products, or changing the way supply chains operate.
- Align with Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Objectives: ESG refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a company or business. Detailed Eligibility:
Who can participate?
- Accenture Innovation Challenge 2024 is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students (currently full-time students) of all years across all institutes in India.
- Participants can register individually or in teams with at most 4 members
- A team must strictly comprise either all Engineering or all B-School students, i.e. a team cannot have an engineering student along with a B-School student as members
- Cross-specialization, cross-year, and cross-college teams are allowed
- A student can be a part of only one team
- Any deviation from the guidelines mentioned above will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team
Competition Structure:
Round 1: Idea Submission Round
- Submit your innovative ideas that can Reinvent businesses and accelerate change with the power of technology through the provided presentation templates
- Teams are required to submit their innovative ideas in a templatized format in line with their respective team composition—Engineering & B-School students
- The submission templates can be accessed by the registered students/teams from the round titled “Idea Submission” on this page
All the participants are requested to submit their innovative ideas well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassle
Based on the submissions received, the top teams will be shortlisted and taken to the next
round. - The Top 5 teams from Round 1 will automatically have a slot in the Grand Finale
Round 2: Ideas Sandbox
- In this round, the top 200 teams from both (Engineering/Non-Engineering and the B-Schools) tracks will move to the Sandbox. During this phase these teams will get an opportunity to learn from our Storytelling & Entrepreneurial Sessions.
- Submission of a 1 min video pitch is a must for this round. Any team who does not submit within the prescribed timeline will be disqualified.
- These teams will undergo one more round of evaluations and only the top 5 teams from each of the Engineering/Non-Engineering track and the B-School track will move to the grand finale.
Round 3: Grand Finale
- The Finalists will be invited to showcase their innovative solutions to the esteemed jury members and industry experts.
- These teams will also get special mentorship from industry experts and Accenture leadership.
Prize Details:
- Winner: Rs. 1,00,000/- per team member
- First Runner Up: Rs. 75,000/- per team member
- Second Runner-Up: Rs. 60,000/- per team member
- Next 3 Runner Up: Rs. 20,000/- per team member
- Eligible participants submitting innovative ideas will get a Fast-Track Interview and recruitment details from Accenture.

Participation in AIC 2024 is free of charge. There are no registration or participation fees.
Can I participate as an individual, or do I need a team?
Participants can join AIC 2024 either individually or as part of a team. If you register individually, you will have the opportunity to form or join a team during the team formation phase.
