Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/LLB/CA/ICWA/Diploma can apply. There are 448 vacancies available for the posts. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC): In 1923 the Indian Government established a Public Service Commission. It is a department of the government of Tamil Nadu. It is responsible for governing personnel recruitment into the state’s public service. All the recruitments conducted by this commission are purely merit-based.

Educational Qualification:
1. Accounts Officer Class – III: Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA)/Cost Accountants (ICWA).
2. Accounts Officer in Tamil Nadu Medical Service Corporation:
Must have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India / ICWA Course, i.e., Must have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India or its equivalent.
3. Manager-Grade III/Senior Officer (Finance) in Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited.: CA /ICWA in recognized universities.
4. Manager (Finance) in Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited: Must possess any CA inter / ICWA (CMA) inter degree.

Selection Process:
- Selection will be made in two successive stages
- Examination (Computer Based Test Method) and
- Oral Test in the shape of an interview.
- The final selection will be based on the applicants’ total marks at the CBT examination and oral test, subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
- Applicant’s appearance in the CBT examination and oral test is compulsory.
- The applicant who has not appeared for any subjects in the CBT examination or Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks.

- Based on the results of the written examination, candidates shall be admitted to the online certificate verification.
- After online certificate verification, based on the marks obtained in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments, wherever it applies, candidates shall be admitted to original certificate verification and oral test.
