South East Central Railway Recruitment 2023 job notification announced for Apprentices for Apprenticeship Training. There are 1832 vacancies available for the posts. South East Central Railway: One of 18 railway zonal regions in India is the South East Central Railway. The headquarters is in Bilaspur, and the other division offices are in Nagpur, Bilaspur, and Raipur. The South East Central Railway zone was incorporated on 20 September 1998. The regional hub of the South East Central Railway zone is located at Bilaspur railway station. Mumbai-Howrah and Mumbai-Katni-Bilaspur rail lines will be the main lines under the SECR Zone.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed the Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e. National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).
Age Limit(As of 01 January 2023): The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and not have completed 24 years.
Age Relaxation:
- 05 Years– SC/ST
- 03 years– OBC

- 10 years– UR,
- 13 years– OBC
- 15 years– SC/ST
- Relaxation for Ex-servicemen in the age will be total Military service plus 03 years subject to completion of at least six months of regular attested service.
Stipend:
Training will be arranged under the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid a stipend during Apprenticeship at the applicable rates per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by the Railway Board occasionally.

Selection Process:
- Selection for Apprenticeship training will be based on a merit list prepared for all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit.
- The merit list will be prepared to take the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
- For calculating the percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not based on marks of any subject or a group of subjects.
- If two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred.
- If the dates of birth are also the same, then the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.
- Candidature of finally enlisted candidates for Apprenticeship Training will be subjected to verification of original documents and being found fit in appropriate Medical examination.
