SGPGIMS Recruitment 2023– Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow invites applications from eligible candidates for Group B, C & D Posts. There are 155 vacancies available for these post. Candidates with the qualification of Graduate/B.Sc/M.Sc/D.Pharm/M.D./M.S./MDS/PhD/Diploma/10th are eligible to apply for this job. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Asstt. Security Officer:

  • Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;
  • Experience for at least five years in deeping security, preferably in a hospital/medical institution of repute.
  • Desirable: Armed Forces personnel OR the ranked subadar or Inspectors of Police Civil/Para Military/ Military Forces

Junior Engineer (A.C/Telecom/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil):

  • 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/telecommunication/electronics/Electrical/ Civil Engineering plus a specialized course in from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute
  • Desirable: Experience in relevant fields

Pharmacist Grade-II:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University / Institution
  • Should be a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Desirable: Degree in pharmacy from a recognized University /Board and 02 years experience in a related field

CSSD Asstt:

  • 10+2 in Science with a Diploma in CSSD, failing which 3 years experience in CSSD in a large teaching hospital

Hospital Attendant Grade-II:

  • 10th Standard Pass
  • Desirable: Experience of having worked in a Civil or Military Hospital, or in a Nursing Home or with a Medical Practitioner

Tutor (Applied Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Applied Health Sciences (Community Medicine) (College of Medical Technology & AHS):

  • First Class Master’s Degree in Applied Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Allied Health Sciences with Community Medicine as major subject.
  • Ph.D. with good academic record will be preferred. OR
  • M.D./M.S./MDS in concerned discipline.
  • Experience: Two years teaching/research experiences in a reputed recognized medical teaching organization.

Tutor(Physiotherapy) (College of Medical Technology & AHS):

  • First’s Class Master’s Degree In Physiotherapy.
  • Ph.D. with good academic record will be preferred. OR
  • M.D./M.S./MDS in concerned discipline
  • Experience: Two years teaching/research experiences in a reputed recognized medical teaching organization

Technical Officer (Perfusion):

  • B.Sc. Degree in Medical Perfusion from a recognized Institute/University OR
  • B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with certificate in Perfusion Technology (awarded by a recognized Institution/ Association/ Authority (such as Association of Thoracic and Cardio Vascular Surgeons of India) after minimum 01 year training in a center with CVTS Services. AND
  • 05 years of experience in clinical perfusion

Age Limit(As on 1 July 2023): 18 – 40 years

Age relaxation:

  • Age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates up to a maximum period of 05 years, as per appended guidelines and relevant GOs of Govt of UP.
  • Others as per Govt instructions

Salary: Pay Matrix Level as per 7th CPC

  • Asstt. Security Officer: Level-8
  • Junior Engineer (A.C/Telecom/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil): Level-6
  • Pharmacist Grade-II: Level-5
  • CSSD Asstt: Level-4
  • Hospital Attendant Grade-II: Level-1

Selection Process:

  • The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT)
  • The Common Recruitment Test (CRT) will be of 02 hours in duration and 100 marks. It will contain multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
    • 60 marks on the subject(s) related to the post and on the level of the qualifications required
    • 10 marks in General English
    • 10 marks on General Knowledge
    • 10 marks on Reasoning
    • 10 marks on Mathematical Aptitude.
  • 1 (one) mark will be given for the correct answer, and 1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted for the wrong answer (i.e. there will be negative marking)
  • Minimum qualifying marks of the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all posts will be – 50% for General, EWS, OBC and 45% for SC & ST
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT)

  • The applicants can print their hall ticket for the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) online from the Institute website
  • The medium of Examination will be only in English Language for all posts, except for Hospital Attendant, for which it will be English and Hindi language
