SFIO Recruitment 2023 – Serious fraud investigation office has announced an online job notification for recruitment for the post of Sr. Consultants/Jr. Consultants/Young Professionals on a contract basis. There are 91 vacancies to be filled for this post. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 5 November 2023. About SFIO: The Government of India had set up a Committee on Corporate Governance under the Chairmanship of Shri Naresh Chandra, former Cabinet Secretary. The Naresh Chandra Committee inter-alia recommended setting up of Corporate Serious Fraud Office. The recommendations of Naresh Chandra Committee were as under:- A Corporate Serious Fraud Office should be set up in the Department of Company Affairs with specialists inducted on the basis of transfer/deputation and on special term contracts.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Young Professional (Law):
- The incumbent should be a Law Graduate with at least one year experience preferably having exposure in other investigation agencies and/ or regulatory bodies in the field of Corporate Law.
Young Professional (Financial Analysis/ Forensic Audit):
- The incumbent should be a CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) with at least one year of experience preferably having exposure in other investigation agencies and/or regulatory bodies.
Jr. Consultant (Law):
- The incumbent should be an Advocate with at least 3-8 years’ experience preferably having exposure in other investigation agencies and/ or regulatory bodies in the field of Corporate Law.
Jr. Consultant (Financial Analysis/ Forensic Audit):
- The incumbent should be a CA/ CWA/ MBA(Finance) with at least 3-8 years’ experience preferably having exposure in other investigation agencies and/ or regulatory bodies in the field of Financial Analysis/ Forensic Audit.
Sr. Consultant (Law):
- The incumbent should be a CA/ CWA/ MBA (Finance) with 8-15 years’ experience preferably having exposure in other investigation agencies and/ or regulatory bodies, especially in the field of Financial Analysis/ Forensic Audit.
Sr. Consultant (Banking & General Administration):
- Qualification of Ph.D./ Master’s Degree or MBA in relevant field/ subject as specified in the TOR. The minimum post-qualification experience of 3-8 years in the required field.
Period of Engagement: The initial term of engagement of consultants will be for a period of three (3) years extendable by a further period of two years on a case-to-case basis. The maximum period of engagement of consultants shall be five (5) years or till attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. However, the period of engagement would be subject to a successful review every six months.
