Detailed Eligibility โ€“ Pawan Hans Vacancies:

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Manager (IT):

  • B. Tech. / B.E. / Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information System / Information Technology or equivalent / MCA from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • The incumbent should have minimum one year of post qualification executive experience in relevant field/s at the next below/equivalent grade of Rs. 30,000 โ€“ 1,20,000. (Candidates working in Private Sector /Public Ltd. / Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having annual CTC of Rs. 7.49 lakhs excluding PF, Gratuity & Pension in preceding one year.
  • Experience in Aviation Industry is desirable.

Network/System Administrator:

  • B.E. / B. Tech. / Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information System / Information Technology/Electronics and Communication/ Electricals/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics Design & Technology/ Applied Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent / MCA from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • The incumbent should have minimum 01 (one) year of post qualification executive experience in relevant field at equivalent/ next below grade of Rs. 30,000 โ€“ 1,20,000 in a large & reputed organization. Candidates working in Private Sector or Public Ltd. Or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having CTC of Rs. 7.49 lakhs excluding PF, Gratuity & Pension in preceding one year.

Assistant Manager (Vigilance):

  • B.E./ B.Tech/ LLB OR
  • MBA / PG Degree/ Two years Diploma in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • The incumbent should have minimum 01 (one) year of post qualification executive experience at the equivalent / next below grade Rs. 30,000 โ€“ 1,20,000 in a large & reputed organization. Candidates working in Private Sector or Public Ltd. Or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having CTC of Rs. 7.49 lakhs excluding PF, Gratuity & Pension in preceding one year.
  • Preference will be given to individuals possessing vigilance experience.
  • Specific training in Vigilance/Investigation related course will have an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of CDA rules/ PC Act/ IPC is desirable.
  • Should be well conversant with the process and stages of investigation and disciplinary proceedings and having ability to undertake investigation/ inquiry etc.

Safety Manager โ€“ (Regular)

  • B. Tech. / B.E. in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Avionics with 5 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years should be in aviation industry at equivalent/ next below grade of Rs. 40000- 140000 in a large and reputed organization. OR
  • AME Diploma with BAMEL and 7 years of relevant work experience of which 2 years should be in aviation industry at equivalent/ next below grade of Rs. 40000- 140000 in a large and reputed organisation. The two years should cover an appropriate combination of experience in tasks/ activities related to maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management and/or the surveillance of such tasks- through knowledge of the organizationโ€™s MOE and safety policy.
  • Candidates working in public Ltd./ Joint Venture/ Private organizations/ on contract basis should have CTC of Rs. 9.90 Lakhs excl PF, gratuity and PF in each of preceding two years.
  • Candidate undergone โ€˜Human Factors Principlesโ€™ and โ€˜Safety Management Systemโ€™ training will be given preference.
  • Candidate having knowledge of the applicable regulations will be preferred.
  • The post is required to be approved by DGCA under form 4

Dy. Continued Airworthiness Manager:

  • B. Tech/ Engg Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic orย B.Sc. in Aeronautical/ Aerospace or equivalentย OR
  • Valid CAR 66 AME Licenseย OR
  • Diploma in AME from DGCA approved CAR 147 Institute/School and must have cleared Module 09 & 10 of CAR 66.
  • Should have ย ย five years of post-qualification executive experienceย in relevant field out of which at leastย two yearsย should be at equivalent/ next below grade Rs. 50,000 โ€“ 1,60,000 in a large and reputed organization. Candidates working in Private sector or Public Limited or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having minimum CTC of Rs. 12.67 Lakhs in each of preceding two years.
  • Direct Competency Assessment for formal Approval by DGCAโ€ย is required as per approved MOE/CAME.

Continued Airworthiness Manager:

  • B.Tech/Engg Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic orย B.Sc. in Aeronautical/ Aerospace or equivalentย OR
  • Valid CAR 66 AME Licenseย OR
  • Diploma in AME from DGCA approved CAR 147 Institute/School and must have cleared Module 09 & 10 of CAR 66.
  • Should have seven (07) years post qualification executive experience in relevant field out of which at least two years should be at equivalent/ next below grade in an Aeronautical Industry. Candidates working in private sector or Public Ltd. or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having CTC Rs. 15.16 Lakhs in each of preceding two years.
  • Direct Competency Assessment for formal Approval by DGCAโ€ย is required as per approved MOE/CAME.

Dy. Quality Manager:



  • An Engineering degree or equivalent in any discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunications) or Aircraft Maintenance License in B1 or B2 category issued by DGCA or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License in Mechanical or Avionics streams
  • Should have 05 years of post-qualification executive experienceย in aeronautical industry on an appropriate position and one year of experience in Quality Department of any aviation organization.
  • The candidate should have at leastย two yearsย of experience on equivalent/ next below grade Rs. 50,000 โ€“ 1,60,000.
  • Candidates working in Private sector or Public Ltd. or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having minimum CTC of Rs. 12.67 Lakhs in each of preceding two years.
  • Should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the CAR-66 and CAR-147 (basic) and instructorsโ€™ technique course and other regulatory requirements.
  • Additionally, should have a practical working knowledge of the Maintenance Training Organizations Exposition (MTOE), associated training procedures and all other applicable rules/regulations/circulars/ instructions issued by DGCA from time to time.
  • Knowledge of quality systems/requirements for CAR-147 (Basic) organization including internal audit procedures.
  • Experience in Aviation industry is desirable.

Officer (CPMS):

  • A Masterโ€™s degree / Two years PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Mass Media/ Public Relations or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.
  • The incumbent should have minimum 01 (one) year of post-qualification executive experience in relevant field at equivalent/ next below grade of Rs. 30,000 โ€“ 1,20,000.
  • Candidates working in Private sector or Public Ltd. or Joint Venture or working on contract basis should be having CTC of Rs. 7.68 lakhs in preceding one year.

Station Manager:

  • MBA / Post Graduate Degree / two years Diploma in Marketing/ Commercial/ Finance/ Aviation Management from a recognized Institution/University with 01 (one) year of post qualification executive experience in relevant field at the equivalent/ next below grade of Rs. 30000-120000).
  • Candidates working in private sector or Public Ltd. or Joint Venture or workingon contract basis should be having annual CTC of Rs. 7.68 lakhs in preceding one year.

Selection Process of Pawan Hans Career:

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview based on the scrutiny of application as per the criteria laid down in the advertisement.
  • Verification of eligibility claims of the candidates with original documents will be done on the day of interview.
  • However, candidates, at the discretion of Management, may be called for documentation on any other day before scheduling the personal interview.
