Detailed Eligibility for NISER Bhubaneswar Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
Research Associate-I: Doctoral Degree in Chemistry/Material Sciences/Polymer from a recognized university/Institute.
Duration: The above position is purely temporary for five months or the completion of the project, whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project and not leading to any degree in NISER.
Age Limit (As on 21 July 2024): 35 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules
Salary: Rs. 58,000/- pm plus HRA (per rules).

Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “Constraining the tectonic processes driving the subaerial emergence of continental crust on early Earth” in the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, NISER Bhubaneswar funded by SERB, Govt. of India
Junior Research Fellow:
- Master’s degree in Geology/Geological Sciences/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/Earth & Planetary Sciences or equivalent.
- Qualified and valid CSlR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- Desired Experience: Experience in field geology, processing rock samples (rock cutting, making whole-rock powders etc.), thin-section petrography, and basics of SEM or EPMA techniques.
Duration: The above position is purely temporary for a period of six months or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project and not leading to any PhD degree in NISER.
