Detailed Eligibility – NIIRNCD Career:
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “Strategic Multimodal Intervention in At-risk Elderly Indians for Prevention of Dementia (SMRUTHI INDIA): A cohort Multiple randomized controlled trial (CMRCT)”
Project Technical Support- III: Three Years Graduate in Statistics + three Years experience OR PG in Statistics
Tenure: Initially for up to one year (extendable as per norms). However, the position is terminus at any point in time
Upper Age Limit (As on 29 August 2024): Not exceeding 35 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates and the retrenched government. Employees, departmental candidates (including projects), ex-servicemen, etc., are occasionally under the instructions issued by the central government/DoPT/ICMR.
Salary Details: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA

- Only eligible candidates will appear for an interview/written test.
- In the case of more than 30 candidates, a written test will be taken.
- The qualifying marks for the written test shall be as under: For SC/ST: 35%; For UR/OBC / EWS: 40%
- The candidates scoring qualifying marks shall be interviewed as mentioned if a written test is conducted:
- Project Technical Support- III: Generally, up to the top 08 candidates in the written test.
- The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test/interview subject to qualifying for the skill test, wherever applicable.
- The final merit shall be prepared based on written test marks and interviews.
- In case of non-conductance of written test being less than 30 candidates, the merit shall be prepared based on marks obtained in the interview.
- At the time of joining duty, the candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), No Objection Certificate from present employer if working in ICMR Projects (compulsory), SC / ST / OBC / EWS certificate, Experience, Aadhaar Card & PwBD Certificate (if applicable) for availing age relaxation, passport size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) for verification.
