Detailed Eligibility for MRVC Careers:

Additional General Manager/Joint General Manager (Civil):



  • Graduate in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent from a recognized (AICTE) University.
  • Candidates with postgraduate degrees in the relevant engineering/construction management field will have an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria:

AGM (Civil):

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification work experience and minimum working in analogous grade Rs.100000-260000 (IDA E7) for two years / working in grade Rs.90000-240000 (IDA E6) with minimum 3 years in E6 grade. Further, the candidates should have at least six years of post-qualification work experience in executing transport infrastructure projects, preferably rail infrastructure projects.
  • The candidates from Reputed Private Sector Companies
    where the annual turnover is *Rs.500 crore or more (The average yearly audited turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits) with a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification work experience and drawing minimum CTC of Rs.1,80,000/- and above per month consecutively for the last two years.
  • Further, the candidates should have at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in the execution of Transport Infrastructure projects, preferably rail infra projects.

JGM (Civil):

  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification work experience and minimum working in analogous grade Rs.90000-240000 (IDA E6) for 2 years / working in grade Rs.80000-220000 (IDA ES5) with minimum two years in E5 grade. Further, the candidates should have at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in executing Transport Infrastructure projects, preferably rail infra projects.
  • The candidates from Reputed Private Sector Companies with an annual turnover of Rs.500 crore or more (The average yearly audited turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits) with a minimum eight years of post-qualification work experience and drawing minimum CTC of Rs.1,50,000/- and above per month consecutively for the last two years.
  • Further, the candidates should have at least five years of post-qualification work experience in executing transport infrastructure projects, preferably rail infrastructure projects.

Duration: The contract period will initially be two years, extending up to three years on satisfactory performance and mutual consent.

Age Limit(As on 26 July 2024): 50 years

Salary: 

  • AGM(Civil): Rs.2,04,416 /- per month
  • JGM(Civil): Rs.1,84,054/- per months

Selection Process for MRVC Careers:

  • The selection process will be based on interviews.
  • After preliminary screening of the applications received from candidates by mai, the eligible candidate(s) will only be called for document verification and interview.
  • If more eligible applications are received, candidates equal to 05 times the notified vacancies will only be called for document verification and interview based on their engineering marks and experience.
  • A nominated Committee will interview the candidate, and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification and post-qualification experience gained by the Candidate.
  • The decision of the Nominated Committee of MRVC shall be final and binding
