Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Design, Development, Testing and Automation of LPG, PNG and CNG Operated Refractory Burners for Cooking and Industrial Applications sponsored by SERB, DST
Junior Research Fellow:
- CGPA equivalent to first class in B.E Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of heat transfer or Porous Medium combustion.
- GATE/NET/GPAT score is a must
Desired Experience:
- Adequate knowledge in heat transfer and thermal modeling
- Must have adequate knowledge in ceramic and their thermophysical properties
- Willing to work efficiently in a team environment, self-motivated, and work under a variety of challenging research conditions
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate the highest work ethics
Duration: Initially one year and may be extended for one more year based on the performance.
Senior Research Fellow:
- CGPA equivalent to first class in Master of Mechanical Engineering with specialization in the Thermal / Energy Science with five-year experience or PhD in Thermal Science / Energy. or
- CGPA equivalent to first-class B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering, qualified in GATE examination with good academic background and should have three years research experience in the domain of the project
Desired Experience:
- Must have exposure to Porous Medium Combustion
- Adequate knowledge in heat transfer and thermal modeling
- Must have exposure to testing of domestic burners as per BIS
- Must have adequate knowledge in ceramic and their thermophysical properties
- Willing to work efficiently in a team environment, self-motivated, and work under a variety of challenging research conditions
Duration: Six Months and may be extended for one more year based on the performance.
Age Limit(As on 21 November 2023):
- Junior Research Fellow: 30 years or less
- Senior Research Fellow: 40 years or less
Salary:
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 + HRA as applicable
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 42,000 + HRA as applicable
Selection Process:
- The selection process will be based on an Online Interview
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifications, experience, and interview.
- The interview and other logistics will be conducted via online only.
- The candidate may appear in the interview through video conferencing.
