Educational Qualification:
Title of the Project: Thermo-mechanical fatigue analyses of carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites for aerospace applications: experimental and modeling approach funded by Aeronautics Research & Development Board, DRDO
Duration of the Tenure: The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months or the end of the project (whichever is earlier)
JRF:
- B.Tech. or B.E. in Mechanical /Aerospace/Materials /Metallurgy Engineering or equivalent field
- GATE qualified at least once in an academic career
- Desirable Experience: Candidates with 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA and above will be preferred
- Candidate should be familiar with ANSYS/COMSOL computational tool, able to perform fracture and fatigue experimentation, material characterization on SEM/DSC/XRD etc,, interpretation of data scientific and appreciable scientific writing skills
Job Profile:
- Structural Design Analysis using FEM-based ABAQUS/ANSYS/COMSOL Package
- Conduct experimental investigation on Fracture and Fatigue Tests, XRD, TEM, and SEM
Salary: Rs 31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as applicable
