Detailed Eligibility – IIT Hyderabad Jobs:
Educational Qualifications:
Project Title: Viksit Bharat ki Atmanirbhar Betiyan: Exploring the Role of CCTs and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in Empowering Girls in India
Research Assistant:
- Essential: Degree MA/MPhil in Sociology/Anthropology/ Development Studies (with specialization in agrarian studies; quantitative research methods; survey research)
- Can speak/ read/ write in Telugu, Hindi, English
- Understands and is adept at managing administrative paperwork and personnel management
- Candidate should be residing in Hyderabad/Telangana
- Desirable:
- Any field/ work experience Should have training in working with SPSS, analyzing primary quantitative and qualitative data.
- Specialization in agrarian studies; population studies; water resource management.
- Should be able to collect survey data from varied sources.
- Having proficiency in MS Excel
Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension for another 6 to 9 months subject to funds availability and satisfactory performance)
Field Investigator:
Essential: Degree MA/Mphil in Economics (with specialization in statistics/ regression analysis)
Desirable:
- Any field/ work experience Should have experience in analyzing primary and secondary quantitative data: census, NFHS, survey.
- Candidates with prior knowledge and training in agrarian statistics and gender economics would be given preference
Duration: 3 months
Research Assistants:
Essential:
- Degree MA/Mphil in Sociology/ Anthropology/Development Studies (with specialization in quantitative research methods; survey research)
- Can speak/ read/ write in Bengali/Hindi/Assamese and English
- Candidates should be residing in West Bengal/Delhi/Assam to take up this position
Desirable:
- Any field/ work experience Should have training in working with SPSS, analyzing primary quantitative and qualitative data.
- Specialization in gender studies; agrarian studies; and population studies. Should be able to collect survey data from varied sources.
- Should have proficiency in MS Excel.
Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension for another 6 months subject to funds availability and satisfactory performance)

- Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000/-
- Research Assistants: Rs. 37,000/-
