Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification(As on 27 October 2023):
Constable(Executive) – Sports Quota: Matric (10th or equivalent) from a recognized board of Secondary Education
Driving Skills (For male candidates only): Possession of a valid Driving license to drive both two-wheeler and four-wheel vehicles is mandatory for male candidates of all categories as on the date of submission of the online application.
Age Limit(As on 27 October 2023):
- 18-30 years (General Category)
- 18-33 years (OBC Category)
- 18-35 years (SC Category)
Age Relaxation:
- Relaxable upto maximum age of 45 years for Ex-servicemen
- Departmental Candidates of Chandigarh Police/ Chandigarh Police Personnel upto 40 years
- Relaxation for wards of serving/retired/deceased Police Personnel (except dismissed, compulsory retired or removed from service) of Chandigarh Police
- Relaxation of 2 years to the wards of serving/Retired Police Personnel of Chandigarh Police.
- Relaxation of 3 years to the wards of Police Personnel who died in service

Selection Process:
- All candidates who fill online application form and provisionally found eligible under sports quota, will have to undergo through Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test (PEMT) as per following minimum eligibility standards :-
- Height:
- 165 cm (Male)
- 157 cm (Female)
- Relaxation:
- Residents of notified Hill Area by 5 cm
- Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm
- Chest (only for male): 84-88 cm (Unexpanded-Expanded)
- Relaxation:
- Residents of notified Hill Area by 5 cm
- Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cm
- All the candidates who qualify PE&MT will be awarded marks (maximum 50 marks) as per their achievement in sports as per the criteria mentioned in Standing Order no. 51/2023 (Para 10.5).
- Final merit list for each category shall be based on the marks obtained out of maximum 50 marks as per the sports achievement of the candidates who qualify PE&MT.

- General candidates – ₹1000/-
- OBC & EWS candidates – ₹ 800/-
- SC candidates – ₹ 500/-
- ESM candidates – Exempted
Note: Collection charges or processing fee charged by the bank or intermediary, payable by the candidates, shall be in addition to application fee as above payable to Chandigarh Police.
