CSIR CECRI Recruitment 2024:

CSIR-CECRI desires to engage talented candidates as Project Associate – II and Project Associate – I temporarily in various projects at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi and CSIR-CECRI, Chennai Unit as per the qualification, age, payments, etc. The age limit for these posts will be 35 Years at the mentioned venue. Central Electro Chemical Research Institute: It is one of a chain of 40 national laboratories under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research in New Delhi. It was founded on 25 July 1948 at Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu. During the last 50 years, CECRI has been recognized as the premier institution for developing and researching electrochemical science and technology in India and Southeast Asia. Four extension centres for CECRI are located at Cochin, Chennai, Tuticorin, and Mandapam. It also conducts short-term refresher courses to benefit industry and educational institutions.

Project: Design and Development of an AI-based intelligent battery management system for energy storage and -mobility applications

Project Associate – II: P01

B.E/B.Tech in EEE/ECE/EIE/Mechanical with two years of experience (OR)
M.Sc in Electronics with two years of experience
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Circuit Design, Battery Modelling and Algorithms development, CFD Studies, Proficiency in ML Algorithms, Matlab, any PCB Software

Project Associate – II: P01

B.E/B.Tech in ECE/Computer Science and Engineering/ IT/ Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / Artificial Intelligence and Machine
Learning with two years of experience (OR)
M.Sc in Computer Science/Data Science with two years of experience (OR)
MCA with two years of experience.
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Data Analysis, ML algorithms and implementation in real-time applications, IoT devices and dashboard interfaces.
Proficiency in Python, .NET, JAVA, C++ Programming, HTML (full stack developer)

Desirable: Background inLi-ion batteries and Battery Management system – Circuit design and simulation, microcontroller Programming. Knowledge and experience in ML algorithms, Matlab and any PCB software

Project: Battery to Battery: Recovery of Metal values from Spent Lithium-Ion Batteries and Fabrication of New Lithium Ion Batteries – A circular Economy Approach

Project Associate – I: P02

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Chemical & Electrochemical /Metallurgical Engineering
Desirable: Experience in Process design

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PwD Candidates as per Government of India instructions.

Salary Details:

Project Associate – II: Rs. 28,000/- p.m + HRA
Project Associate – I:
- Rs. 31,000/-pm + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
