CVPP Recruitment 2020 – Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Ltd (CVPP) has released the job notification for the post of Graduates/Technician Apprentices for 10 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in the relevant field within the age limit of 14 to 30 years are eligible to apply for this post. Eligible candidates can apply for this post through postal before the last date. The detailed eligibility criteria and application process are given below.

Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPPL):

The Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPPL) is a Joint Venture Company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC Limited, and PTC (India) Limited. It formed for the execution of Pakal Dul, Kiru, Kwar and Dul Hasti (Phase-II) Hydroelectric Projects in Chenab River Basin, District Kishtwar (J&K) with an aggregate capacity of 2714 MW. The main objective of the CVPP is to build, own, operate and maintain the Hydroelectric projects with the capacity of 2714 MW.

Educational Qualification:

For Graduates Apprentices:

Candidates should complete 4 years regular engineering degree in the relevant field from a recognized university
Relevant Field: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and IT/Computer Science

For Technician Apprentices:

Candidates should complete 3 years full-time diploma in Civil engineering from a recognized university

Note:

Candidates who have already gone through Apprenticeship training in any organization are not eligible to apply.
Those who passed the course before three years (i.e. before 2017) are not eligible to apply for apprenticeship training.

CVPP Recruitment Selection Process:

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in Degree/ Diploma
courses. The shortlisted candidates can be called for an interview.

CVPP Recruitment – Selection Process:

Candidates shall be required to apply and appear in the GATE-2020 examination scheduled to be held in the month of February 2020. Based on the GATE-2020 exam score they will be select the candidates.

Cut-off score:

Candidates have registered with CVPPPL and qualified GATE-2020 shall be shortlisted as per the requirement in the order of merit (GATE-2020 score).

For Unreserved (UR)/ OBC: Rs.500/-
For SC/ ST/ PWD/ EWS / Female candidates: No fee
