Detailed Eligibility for CUTN Careers 2024:
Educational Qualifications:
Title of the project: The Synthesis of Less Explored, Axially Chiral Non-Symmetrical Imidazolium Salts and Related NHCs for Catalytic and Material Applications.
Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate::
- MSc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry or any equivalent discipline with a minimum 55% mark or CGPA.
- Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates with research experience in synthetic chemistry (organic/inorganic/organometallic) and interested in pursuing a PhD at CUTN.
Tenure of Position: 3 years from the start or till the end of the project period, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit: 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- The Age limit is to be relaxed as per the rules of the Government of India
Salary Details:
- Scholars selected through UGC-CSIR-NET/GATE or any other equivalent national level examinations will receive Rs. 31,000/ + HRA for two years and 35,000/+ HRA for the third year (as per SERB and Institute norms).
- For scholars who do not fall under (i) above: Rs. 25,000/ + HRA for two years and 28,000/+ HRA for the third year (as per SERB and Institute norms).

Salary Details: Rs. 16,000/- Per month (without HRA) for 36 months or they can avail their own fellowship (INSPIRE/UGC(JRF)
